Sejal resides in the evergreen state of Washington. She moved there half a decade ago after completing her bachelor's in computer engineering to pursue a master's at the University of Washington. This move symbolized her transition to the design field as she pursued higher education in the human-computer interaction field. Sejal’s background in Computer Engineering places her in a unique position to serve as a bridge between the UX and engineering teams. This means that she can engage in feasibility discussions with the team and shed light on trade-offs that inform user-centered decision-making.

Shortly after completing her master's degree, she began working as a full-time UX Researcher in the tech industry. Now approaching four years as a professional in this field, including her recent assignment at Google, Sejal takes pride in her involvement in pioneering and impactful projects across various domains such as healthcare, artificial intelligence, diversity, and equity.
